Integrating of IMAT Technologies into active NCI grant awards.

The purpose of these RFAs is based on the recognition that R21 and R33 awards are effective for advancing technology development research to the point of robust analytical validation of a new technology within a generic cancer-relevant context of use, but more work is often required to achieve the “reduction to practice” of a new capability sufficient to encourage end-users from a targeted field to feel confident that they can incorporate that technology into their own research efforts.
